Hey!

I thought I'd have to update this thing before I leave Norway, so I'll just do it now.

It's now 3 weeks and 3 days intil I leave Norway, headed first for London then for Tokyo and Osaka. Yeah, you read it right, Osaka. I'll be living in Habikino-shi in the Osaka Prefecture. It's a suburb to Osaka-shi, basically. It has 120k people, and I'm going to live with a grandmothery-type host-'mom'. She lives alone, so it'll be just me and her. But that's kind of awesome.

While living in Habikino-shi, I'll actually be attending school in Tennoji-ku of Osaka-shi. That is as to say that I'll be attending school in Osaka-city itself, not in Habikino. Tennoji is the ward the school lies within. The city is incredibly big, compared to where I live now (Around 1k people, haha.) with it's 3,7 million inhabitants at daytime. In night, Osaka only has 2,6 million inhabitants, but that's because a lot of people who work or study in Osaka-shi, lives in the suburbs of the city, like I will.

I will be gone for about 11 months, learning Japanese and all that.

Since I'll be living in the 'urbs of Osaka, I guess the japanese I'll be learning is Osaka-ben. It's a wicked cool dialect, very much used in Anime and such. I looked around on the internet, and found a well-known example. If you've ever seen the anime "Bleach", there is a character called "Ichimaru Gin", an antagonist it seems. He speaks Osaka-ben.

Kore honma? Yesitis. ;D

I'll be leaving on March 17th.
